Clothes To Grow Clothing Donations in Victoria BC

Semi-retired, grateful, and still cheering for the community

24,635 lbs of clothing collected and rehomed to families in need since 2023

Last updated

What started as a simple idea for a "one year community project rehoming clothing to families in need" has turned into an exciting and rewarding journey of over three years meeting amazing people, from donors clearing out closets, to incredible families in need finding something that helped in a real way.

For now, the community project Clothes To Grow that Don St Germain began in 2023 is stepping into semi-retirement.

We're still in full swing with several other community projects including our long-running Victoria computer recycling program and giving 1% back to local schools.

And honestly, we never know what happens in the future. We have several new community projects in the works, stay tuned! All the best from Don St Germain

Over three years of community magic

Clothes To Grow was never just about clothing. It was about connection, dignity, and making it easy for good stuff to find a new home.

Donors who showed up

Every bag and box was a small act of kindness. Thank you for trusting us with the good things you no longer needed.

Volunteers and helpers

Sorting, organizing, loading, delivering, and cheering each other on. This project worked because people cared.

Families in need

We are honoured to have played a small part in making life a bit easier, warmer, and more supported.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts

To everyone who donated, shared a post, helped sort, helped deliver, or helped connect us to families and organizations. You made Clothes To Grow what it was.

This page is a little celebration and a big thank you to everyone involved. And who knows, semi-retired does not always mean the end.

2023
Launched with a simple goal: keep great clothing in circulation.
2024
More donations, more deliveries, more connections.
2025
Kept it going with momentum from the community.
2026
Semi-retired and passing the torch. Future possibilities always welcome.
